Tim Martin started building fences as a side job in 2016, armed with local knowledge and a commitment to doing it right. Word spread fast — not through advertising, but through neighbors telling neighbors.

How much does a fence cost in Wilmington, NC?+
It depends on the material, length, height, and your terrain — a chain link run is one of the most affordable options, while a tall wood privacy fence, ornamental aluminum, or vinyl costs more per foot. Do I need a permit or HOA approval for a new fence?+
Often yes. Many New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick County neighborhoods require HOA approval, and some fences need a permit or a survey to confirm property lines. We build to your HOA’s specs and help you work through the approval paperwork — it’s one of the most common things our customers thank us for.
Which fence material lasts longest on the coast?+
Near the salt air, powder-coated aluminum and vinyl hold up beautifully with almost no maintenance, while pressure-treated and cedar wood deliver the classic Carolina look at a friendlier price. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs for your yard, budget, and HOA so you pick the right material the first time.
How long does it take to install a fence?+
Most residential fences are installed in one to three days once materials are on hand, depending on the length, the number of gates, and how the posts set. We’ll give you a realistic timeline with your quote and keep you posted if weather or a utility locate affects the schedule.
Do you repair fences you didn’t build?+
Absolutely. We fix what others built — storm damage, leaning or rotted posts, broken panels and rails, and gates that won’t latch. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we’ll tell you honestly and quote both.
